Ahh, neighbors. They can run the gamut of Mr. Rogers right down to Gladys Kravitz. Ours have existed somewhere in the middle, trending towards the more negative end of the spectrum. (Take it from us: if you have a good neighbor, treasure that relationship.)

We admit that we've often wondered what it would be like to live in a remote area without a neighbor in sight. The homes featured below offer that kind of lifestyle.
