To the surprise of just about everyone, Tayshaun Prince brought the thunder to Oklahoma City.
The 33-year-old Memphis Grizzlies small forward threw down an unlikely one-handed slam over several members of the home team during Game 5 of this Western Conference semifinal series in OKC on Wednesday night. With Memphis guard Mike Conley pushing the ball up along the sideline, Prince ran down the center of the court. Prince took a pass at the top of the key and then rose up. Prince then threw down over several outstretched arms. Those arms belonged to Oklahoma City Thunder players Serge Ibaka, Thabo Sefolosha and Reggie Jackson. Future generations may be familiar with those defenders based largely on the posters soon to be printed depicting this dunk.
"That's flashback to Detroit," Charles Barkley raved during the postgame show on TNT, referencing Prince's early career with the Pistons. "That's Detroit Tayshaun Prince right there."

The dunk gave the Grizzlies a 60-46 lead over the Thunder in the third quarter. Memphis would hold off a last-ditch comeback bid by the Kevin Durant and the Thunder, winning 88-84. With the win, the Grizzlies advance to the Western Conference Finals.
