If you asked us to name two stylish stars who couldn't be more different, we might offer up Jennifer Lawrence and Rooney Mara. While J. Law is known for her vivacious chatter and ladylike red carpet gowns, raven-haired Rooney seems inextricably linked to her edgy, sleek role in 2011's "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo."
Yet it seems the distinct pair have more in common than one might think. Both actresses chose to wear similar Christian Dior runway looks on the same day in Cannes this weekend. While Jennifer attended Saturday's "Jimmy P: Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian" premiere in a modified version of Dior's fall 2013 dress, Rooney donned a similar outfit at a photocall for "Ain't Them Bodies Saints."
As a Dior spokesgirl, J.Law tends to stick to the designer's strapless styles, like at the 2013 Oscars and earlier this week at Cannes; she's also been known to modify her Dior Couture to fit her needs. (Remember that famous SAG Awards wardrobe "malfunction"?) On the other hand, Rooney's top, skirt and cape are more reminiscent of an ambitious runway look. Which Dior look do you like best?
