Angelina Jolie has not granted any television interviews since revealing that she underwent a double mastectomy and now, it appears that she has even turned Ann Curry down for a sit-down.
The New York Post reported Thursday that NBC News pressured Curry to get Jolie's first television interview since her announcement, but that Jolie has declined Curry and other networks down for now.
Jolie made headlines when she announced in a recent New York Times editorial that she underwent a preventative double mastectomy in February. Earlier this week, there were reports that NBC News was pushing Curry to land Jolie for a primetime special in light of the news.
Curry was probably the network's best shot at getting an interview with the actress. Curry has interviewed Jolie numerous times, and the two have become friends as a result. When Curry was ousted from "Today" last year, Jolie reportedly reached out to her and said that she and husband Brad Pitt would not give interviews to anyone else at the show.
