Advertising executive and television personality Donny Deutsch said Tuesday that Sarah Palin garnered so much attention in 2008 not because of her conservative politics, but because of her looks.
"What I believe fascinated everybody about Sarah Palin, and I just know this as a marketer: she was the first woman in power that a lot of people felt was just physically attractive," Deutsch told HuffPost Live host Abby Huntsman. "And people didn't know what to do with that. They never saw that before."
Deutsch said that both men and women alike "didn't know how to process" Palin's looks, describing the former Alaska governor and Republican Vice Presidential nominee as "a babe."
Huntsman also asked Deutsch whether he thinks Hillary Clinton has the same physical appeal. Watch the video above to find out his answer.
