'Planes' Trailer: Fly Away With Disney For A New Adventure (VIDEO)

'Cars' Spinoff Gets First Look

The "Cars" franchise has grossed over $1 billion for Disney around the globe, but in lieu of "Cars 3," here comes "Planes" to consider.

First conceived way back in 2010, Disney will release "Planes," a spinoff that takes place in the "Cars" universe, later this summer. The new film focuses on Dusty, a cropdusting plane who must overcome his fear of flying to compete in an aerial race. Dane Cook lends his voice to Dusty, with stars like Val Kilmer, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Teri Hatcher, Brad Garrett and John Cleese providing vocal support as well.

HuffPost Entertainment is happy to debut the first full trailer for "Planes" alongside our sister site Moviefone. Watch the clip above; check out "Planes" in theaters on Aug. 9.
