Although it's hard to imagine Logan Lerman as anything other than the charmingly awkward Charlie from "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower," we were reminded today that the actor was once one of our favorite high school action heros -- Percy Jackson, in the 2010 film "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief."
A new trailer just dropped for the official sequel starring Lerman, "Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters," coming to theaters in August. Watch above.
The action-heavy film is adding a few new famous faces to the mix -- Stanley Tucci and Nathan Fillion stand out in this trailer -- with Sean Bean returning as Zeus. The plot follows Percy on a mission to retrieve The Golden Fleece, which will protect Camp Half-Blood, their training ground.
"There are a good number of monsters. It won't disappoint," Lerman told MTV.
Logan Lerman + Greek Gods + epic CGI monster battles... what more could you want out of a summer movie, we ask?
