Get ready to pack those samba shoes and soccer cleats because FIFA has set a date for ticket sales to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
On FIFA.com, the soccer association announced the first ticketing phase of the international soccer tournament would begin through their website on August 20. More information on ticket sales and prices is set to appear on the FIFA website as of July 1.
According to the Associated Press, FIFA expects approximately 3.3 million tickets to be available for the World Cup in Brazil, which is set to take place next year in 12 cities across the South American country from June 12 to July 13.
In June of this year, the qualifiers for the tournament will continue worldwide with the final 32-team lineup set to be confirmed sometime in November.
