Macklemore Cover: 20-Year-Old Drummer Uses Everyday Objects To Recreate 'Can't Hold Us' (VIDEO)

And we thought "Can't Hold Us" couldn't get any catchier.

In a new Macklemore cover, an innovative 20-year-old adds some beats of his own with the help of a few everyday household objects.

The Icelandic drummer and producer, who goes by the name Stony, had seen other videos on YouTube that utilize the sound looping technique (in which a short track of music is continuously repeated), so he decided to give it a try.

"I took a drumstick and started banging on things around my house to see what sounded good. That basically snowballed into this huge thing," Stony explained in an email to The Huffington Post.

With the help of a friend and two microphones, Stony was able to capture the sounds of the objects, which "could then be mixed and mastered," as well as the background noises. In all, the recreation of the popular song by Seattle-based rapper Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, took about a day to shoot -- Stony perfected it by the 19th take -- and even less time to edit.
