Could Robin Roberts be getting her own daytime show soon? The answer, according to the "Good Morning America" host, is no.

Roberts was responding to reports that Disney/ABC is considering doing a syndicated talk show with her as host. She denied the rumors in a statement to Broadcasting and Cable, saying, "No one is developing any show for me nor are discussions being had to that effect. I am 100% focused on my health and anchoring GMA, now and in the future."

She has been back at the anchor desk at "GMA" since February, after several months on medical leave. Roberts announced last spring that she had been diagnosed with MDS, a rare blood and bone marrow disorder. She received a bone marrow transplant from her sister Sally in September, after grueling rounds of chemotherapy, and has been working on rebuilding her immune system.

She was briefly hospitalized in April, but assured viewers she was okay and returned to the show days later.

Fueling the speculation about her potential daytime show, B&C reported Thursday, is ABC News' "desire to elevate its GMA franchise further." "GMA" has a lot to celebrate, having recently wrapped up its first quarter as the country's top morning show for the first time since 1994.
