Domonic Brown Home Run Streak Continues In Phillies-Marlins Game (VIDEO)

Phillies Slugger Continues Breakout Streak

Two weeks ago Domonic Brown was hitting .243 and languishing towards the back of the Philadelphia Phillies’ batting order. Nowadays he’s the hardest out in baseball.

Brown tallied three more hits, one of which was another home run, in a 7-2 win over the Marlins Monday night. Brown now has eight homers over his last eight games (and nine in his last 10) and leads the National League with 17 dingers overall.

He’s also been named the National League’s Player of the Month for May. It’s a blisteringly hot pace for an outfielder who just recently was hearing boos from the Citizens Bank Park faithful.

As for Brown, he’s just taking his incredible home run barrages in stride.

"[I’m] just playing games regularly…I’m just excited to see what the game is going to bring," he said, via CSNPhilly.com.

Here are some more of his homers during his hot streak.
