Frank Lloyd Wright, Alden B. Dow And 13 Other Famous Architects' Homes (PHOTOS)

Distinguished architects like Frank Lloyd Wright and Alden B. Dow are probably best remembered as visionaries whose designs continue to inspire us today. While their legacies often cast spotlights on the noteworthy abodes of their clients, where these artists lived themselves is rarely a discussion.

However, when Adel Zakout, CEO of OpenBuildings.com, explored the subject, he said: "perhaps an architect's home is a dream come true, a chance to unleash one's own creativity and design philosophy, often constrained by clients, cost, programme and functionality..."

Judging from what we found, Zakout's thoughts couldn't be more on the money. Without further ado, below are fifteen unique homes of some of our favorite architects.
