Chicago-based photographer Paul Octavious certainly has a knack for transforming mundane images into clever art projects.

For his latest photo endeavor, the mastermind behind the "Lean With It" series turned to The Pantone Color Matching System for inspiration. Holding a swatch of color in front of the camera, Octavious matches Pantone-sanctioned hues with scenes from real life landscapes. A man's vibrant jogging suit is paired with Pantone 7726 and a vibrant picnic table fits perfectly with Pantone 166 in simple, thoughtful snapshots he displays on his Instagram account.

"I went to college for design, so Pantone swatches played a big part in my development," wrote the artist in an email to The Huffington Post. "I love color and see so much of it when I photograph. I thought this would be a fun way to document my surroundings."

We're hooked on the playful Pantone homage, but we can't help but wonder what's next for the quirky photographer.

"No idea what photo series is up for me next. They tend to come to me randomly. Could happen today or two weeks from now! Best is to follow me on instagram and see what I come up with next."
