When Jane Lynch joined me on Mondays With Marlo, we spoke about when she realized she was gay. Jane told me that when she was 12 years old, her family spoke about two men walking on the beach holding hands, and she knew she was the female version. Coming out was a bit difficult for Jane -- she didn't tell her family she was gay until she was 31. She knew she had her family's support when her father voted for Bill Clinton, whom he didn't really like. When her mother asked him why he chose Clinton, he said, "Because he's for the gays."
