'Mistresses': Savi Feels Guilty Because She Cheated, Gets No Sympathy From April (VIDEO)

'Mistresses': Savi Consumed With Guilt Over Cheating

There's a lot of cheating going on -- appropriately for a show titled "Mistresses" -- in ABC's steamy summer soap, but only two episodes in and one of the women is ready to give it all up. Savi (Alyssa Milano) immediately regretted sleeping with her coworker. Sure, things have been tough at home between her and her husband and their frustrations conceiving, but she knew it was wrong of her to do.

She even contemplated telling her husband what she'd done, but Karen advised her to take a beat and first try and figure out why this happened. Savi was so overwhelmed with guilt, though, she couldn't stop spilling it to her friends. Perhaps opening up to April -- who was reeling over the possibility that her dead husband may have cheated, and fathered a child in that relationship -- wasn't the best idea. Especially after April had just laid out how abhorrent she found cheating in general.

“You should’ve kept that to yourself," April said before storming out. "Really."

Buddy TV was on April's side in this one, dead husband or not. They said she had the right response: no one should be okay with cheating. TVLine noted that Savi's secret is eating her alive, as she's only opened up to two people so far about it. And with her husband trying to communicate better at home, that will only make her guilt worse.

Of course, there may not be any viewers around to find out. Last week's premiere of "Mistresses" had mixed results in the ratings. While it had slightly more viewers than last season's "Glass House" reality flop, it was down 25% in the 18-49 demographic that advertisers care about.

The drama continues on "Mistresses," Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
