"Mad Men's" Ted Chaough (Kevin Rahm) and Peggy Olson (Elisabeth Moss) have seriously pushed the boundaries of their boss-employee relationship this season.
As things have begun falling apart for Ted at home -- and as Peggy finds herself looking for love (and someone to kill the rat in her apartment) after a bloody breakup -- "Mad Men" fans are wondering if there's hope for Pegs and Ted.
According to Rahm, he never knows what's coming on the AMC drama until he reads the script ... including his makeout scene with Peggy earlier this season.
"The merger I found out about when I read that we were going to merge. Same with flying a plane, same with kissing Peggy ... you get them the day before you start the first episode," he said.
And while Ted has been struggling to overcome his feelings for Peggy throughout Season 6, Rahm is keeping quiet about where things end up with just two episodes left in the season.
When asked if he hopes Ted and Peggy become "Mad Men's" next item, he said, "That's such a loaded question." After a long pause, he added, "The more I get to work with Lizzie, the better."
The LA Times asked Rahm recently what he thinks Ted sees in Peggy. "Obviously she’s an attractive woman, but I think she understands him and that’s a huge turn-on. I think it’s a lot about her drive and her talent," the actors explained. "He doesn’t have the machismo thing, so for him to be able to work with a woman, that’s gotta be a little refreshing."
"Mad Men" airs on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on AMC.
