Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Munenori Kawasaki has become a fan favorite ever since his two-run walk-off double against the Orioles and the amazing interview that followed afterwards. During a recent segment with Toronto second baseman Mark DeRosa, Kawasaki joined MLB network’s "Intentional Talk" after DeRosa invited him to talk with hosts Chris Rose and Kevin Millar. That's when the infielder busted out a handful of hilarious catchphrases from his tiny notebook.
Rose and Millar couldn't contain their laughter during the interview, while DeRosa stuck by Kawasaki's side to enjoy the hilarity.
"Are you kidding me right now?" DeRosa said. "That's real. That's no act."
Kawasaki appears to be in on the humor of it all and Toronto fans have even started a write-in campaign to send him to the All-Star Game in New York later this summer, according to the Toronto Star.
