Alicia Keys is playing dress-up in her new video for the single "Tears Always Win," and we're loving every second of it.
In the video, Alicia plays both a showgirl and cabaret singer working hard for the money on the Las Vegas strip, all the while longing for her far-away love. The song might be somber, but the 32-year-old star livens things up with her dazzling costumes.
"It's more fashiony and playful, clothing wise than many of her previous music videos," Laura Jones, Alicia's stylist told The Huffington Post.
With Ms. Keys' fabulously toned physique as the focus of her showgirl moment, Jones wrapped the star's curves in a custom Dolce and Gabbana bodysuit. And what's a showgirl without feathers and bling? Alicia's finger-waved 'do is adorned with a stunning 1920's rhinestone and black feather headpiece.
After clocking out at her first gig, Alicia then slips into a sparkly black, one-shoulder dress by Michael Kors for her shift as a sultry cabaret singer. "I wanted her to exude ease and glamour," Jones said. Mission accomplished.
And Alicia's off-duty style in the video is worth noting as well. We're loving that white, wide brim Mason Michel hat, billowy boyfriend button-down shirt and fresh Reebok kicks (which Alicia designed by herself, naturally).
