Amanda Bynes Bashes Miley Cyrus On Twitter, Singer Responds

Amanda Bynes decided to bash Miley Cyrus in her latest Twitter rant, but the former Disney star isn't taking the bait.

Early on Wednesday, Bynes tweeted at Cyrus, writing "Ur ugly" and including a photo of the 20-year-old from the Billboard Music Awards last month, according to E! News. The tweet has since been deleted, but the "We Can't Stop" singer is just one of many whom Bynes has targeted recently, including supermodel Chrissy Teigen, Rihanna and Drake.

For her part, Cyrus isn't angry at Bynes. She feels bad for her. In an interview with Hot 99.5's "The Kane Show," the singer refused to address the insult.

"I won't even entertain that thought," Cyrus said when asked about the "stuff" Bynes has going on lately. "I think it's all so sad that I don't wanna add any fuel to that fire. It's really so sad to me. I was rooting for a comeback until you start attacking me. I just thought it was hilarious that she mentioned my name the moment I was the worldwide trending topic on Twitter. It's just funny. The moment you're a trending topic it's funny how many people want your name to come out of their mouth 'cause somehow they can associate, and maybe they can be a trending topic."

Earlier this month, the former Nickelodeon star set her sights on Cyrus' fiance, Liam Hemsworth, tweeting that she thinks he is "the most gorgeous man on the face of the earth." Some think Bynes' latest jab at Cyrus might relate back to that.

“There’s speculation that Amanda and Liam [Hemsworth], Miley’s fiancé, had a little fling in 2009 and some people think this may be the reason that Amanda is lashing out at Miley,” Howard Bragman, a longtime publicist and ABC News consultant, told ABC News.

Later on Wednesday, the troubled starlet seemed to have a change of heart.
