When you're searching for affordable airfare, do sites like Kayak.com and Orbitz.com really offer the best prices? When Frugal Traveler columnist for The New York Times Seth Kugel joined me on Mondays With Marlo, he told me that when you're flying domestically, the answer is "yes."

However, when you're traveling abroad, these sites often don't include all of the foreign airlines. Vayama.com is a great travel search engine for flights around the world. You can also look up the airlines that service the country you're visiting and visit their individual sites.
