At least eight people were wounded, including three teenagers, in shootings citywide overnight.

In Greater Grand Crossing, a 15-year-old boy was standing outside when a man walked up and shot at him several times in the 100 block of West 73rd Street about 8:50 p.m. Thursday, said Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.

The boy was shot in his abdomen, hand and face. He was sent to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, Estrada said.

About 20 minutes earlier near the 1700 block of East 71st Street in South Shore, two people were in an alley when a man fired at them, striking both, Estrada said.
