'Grey's Anatomy' Season 10: Camilla Luddington, Gaius Charles And Two More Upped To Series Regulars

Who's In & Who's Out?

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 10 will see more of some of the Grey Sloan Memorial interns, but not everyone.

All four actors joined the series at the start of Season 9, as did Tina Majorino, who recurred as Heather Brooks on "Grey's Anatomy." Majorino -- who joined the "Veronica Mars" movie this week, reprising her role as Mac -- is signed on as a series regular for TNT's "Legends," starring "Game of Thrones" alum Sean Bean, which will debut in 2014. Because of that commitment, her fate for Season 10 of "Grey's Anatomy" is unknown at this time, an ABC rep told HuffPost TV.

In Season 9 of the ABC series, Stephanie was a love interest for Jackson (Jesse Williams); Brooks and Ross were vying for Dr. Shepherd's (Patrick Dempsey) attention -- but Ross ended up helping save Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) life; Leah nearly lost her job due to Dr. Bailey's (Chandra Wilson) costly error; and Jo sought refuge at Karev's (Justin Chambers), after getting abused by her boyfriend (who Alex then covered for after she retaliated). The season ended with the two of them finally getting together after a season of will-they-won't-they exchanges.

The fate of Hilarie Burton, who appeared at the end of Season 9 as Lauren Boswell, a doctor Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) had an affair with, has also yet to be determined, The Hollywood Reporter notes.

Of course, the biggest casting question mark is James Pickens Jr., who plays Richard Webber, the former chief who was last seen unconscious in the flooded basement of Grey Sloan Memorial, electrocuted after the power came back on in the wake of the storm at the end of the Season 9 finale.

"Hopefully that's not going to happen, but we don't know," Kevin McKidd (Dr. Owen Hunt) told TV Guide in May of Richard's possible death. "If there's a chance to save Richard, you're going to have every doctor at Grey Sloan Memorial clamoring over each other to get in that OR to save him."

Though Rhimes wouldn't say whether or not he's dead when Season 10 of "Grey's Anatomy" kicks off, she did cryptically tell Entertainment Weekly that we "will see Jim Pickens again."

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 10 will air this fall on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.

CORRECTION: This post has been corrected to reflect that Jo fought her boyfriend who'd abused her, but Alex covered for her.
