In recent years, whiskey has become one of the fastest-growing categories of alcoholic beverages. So fast, in fact, that some distilleries are struggling to keep up with demand.
But despite the spirit's growing popularity, we suspect there's a thing or two most people don't know about it. Like, per se, the difference between whiskey and bourbon. (All bourbon is whiskey, but not all whiskey is bourbon.) Or that water is the only add-in ingredient allowed during the production of bourbon. (Beside a base mash of grain.)
