'Franklin & Bash' Premiere: Heather Locklear Is The New Boss, And She Doesn't Like Nonsense (VIDEO)

'Franklin & Bash' Premiere: Heather Locklear Is The New Boss

When "Franklin & Bash" returned for Season 3, there were some notable differences. They wound up in a new house on the beach, they're suddenly getting a wall between their offices, and there's a new boss in town. Heather Locklear joined the cast as Rachel King.

She plays a tough-as-nails, no-nonsense boss who admitted she sees potential on Franklin and Bash. Talent, unfortunately, "that's being wasted."

That said, their unorthodox style is still winning cases, as they proved in tonight's two-episode premiere. It's perhaps their more unorthodox methods that stand out for Rachel.

Or, as she put it, "I like zombies. They’re predictable. They never get tired. And they don’t take everyone out for ‘70s roller disco nights on the firm’s credit card.”

Locklear calls Rachel "Amanda Woodward 2.0," referencing her iconic "Melrose Place" role. The AV Club said that she's exactly what the show needed. "Heather Locklear is like a dominant middle relief pitcher," they wrote. "Shows bring her in when they need a quick jolt in the arm, something to hold over for a few solid innings until the closer can take over.”

Locklear told HuffPost that she loves her new gig. She also teased that fans can expect some scandalous scenes with her, and maybe the guys, later this season. Tune in to "Franklin & Bash" every Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on TNT.
