Man Accused Of Molesting CTA Bus Driver

A 33-year-old man is accused molesting a woman early Wednesday as she drove a CTA bus in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

Gabriel Hayes allegedly approached the 30-year-old bus driver around 4 a.m. Wednesday, exposing himself to her while she was standing in a bus turn-around at Archer and Neva avenues, the Tribune reports.

According to WGN, Hayes later boarded the bus when it was back in service and "molested" the driver, prompting her to call police.

According to police, Hayes was charged with criminal sexual abuse and aggravated battery of a transit employee, CBS Chicago reports. He is due in bond court Thursday.
