Remove Rust From Garden Tools With Crumpled Aluminum Foil

Ah, 'tis the season to be out in the yard, planting and pruning. And the last thing you want to deal with is a corroded pair of shears or trowel. Luckily, we came across this easy solution by AnnArbor.com for removing rust from your garden tools.

First, take a piece of crumpled aluminum foil and dip it in water. Then, simply scrub the decay away. Apartment Therapy also suggests placing the tin in white vinegar to help break down the rust.
