Natasha Exelby, Australian News Anchor, Giggles Through Report On Brazil Riots (VIDEO)

WATCH: News Anchor's Seriously Ill-Timed Laughing Fit

An Australian news anchor apologized last week for getting a "case of the giggles" while she reported on serious events including the riots in Brazil and a collapsed building in Mumbai.

Natasha Exelby of Channel Ten was laughing through a previous segment, when she had to read through the evening's top news stories. She tried to shake off the laughter as she reported on the violent riots in Brazil. Instead, she laughed through the report and later apologized for offending anyone.

Exelby is not the only news anchor to get a case of the giggles on air; however, she might be one of few who laughed through such serious stories. Anderson Cooper lost it during a satirical segment on Dyngus Day, while Megan Kelly giggled nonstop as she discussed a journalist in Texas who was fired when her employer found out that she worked part time as a stripper.
