Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is going to have a wedding singer many Washingtonians would pay big bucks to see.
One of D.C.'s most famous rappers, Wale, announced during an appearance on New York's HOT97 Tuesday that he will be performing at the Rookie of the Year's wedding later this summer, according to DCist.
RGIII called into the radio show by surprise and announced, jokingly, that he would also be performing at the wedding.
Griffin's personal life has been all over the news since the Redskins were ousted from the NFL playoffs in January. The Skins star is set to marry his fiancee Rebecca Liddicoat later this summer, and his fans have already bought every item on the couple's registry with Bed, Bath & Beyond.
Wale seems to be collaborating with everyone these days, including legendary comedian Jerry Seinfeld, who makes an appearance on the D.C. native's new album, "The Gifted," which was released Monday.
