Alex Jay, Model, And Her Beauty Secret To Staying Safe In The Sun

A Yummy Way To Stay Safe In The Sun

When we spotted Alex Jay's pretty pixie cut in Union Square, we were practically obligated to stop her and get the scoop.

It turns out the model chopped her hair off four years ago and hasn't looked back since. (We understand why.) But it wasn't just those short strands that had us intrigued. We were also dying to know her skincare routine, and it turns out her biggest tip is to "drink lots of water and eat lots of greens."

The former health coach knows a lot about healthy living and stresses that "you are exactly what you eat, so it's really important to put good stuff in your body and your skin. It glows, you feel good, you feel vibrant."

But when green juices just don't cut it, Jay turns to the one beauty product she couldn't live without. "Solar Defense Cream from the Body Deli," she said. "It's a moisturizer, it smells like pumpkin pie and has zinc in it so you don't get burnt." Sounds like the total package to us.
