'Hell's Kitchen': Season 11 Chefs Compete Against Previous Winners (VIDEO)

Gordon Ramsay Did Something He's Never Done Before

Gordon Ramsay did something he's never done before on "Hell's Kitchen" this week.

The notorious chef brought back five of the show's previous winners to compete against Season 11's five remaining cheftestants.

"When I told you the competition is going to be strong, I really meant it," Ramsay told this season's remaining chefs Cyndi, Ja'Nel, Jon, Mary and Susan.

"We are the best chefs up here," Susan said confidently. "We can beat them."

But Season 3 winner Rahman "Rock" Harper -- who was joined by Season 4 winner Christina Machamer, Season 6 winner Dave Levey, Season 8 winner Nona Sivley and Season 9 winner Paul Niederman -- had his doubts. "The woman with the towel on her head wasn't too intimidating," he said. "I think we're good."

Ramsay said he's "never looked more forward to a dinner service," which saw the two groups work as teams and go head-to-head. In the end, the returning champs beat the current competitors -- but not by much: 95 percent of diners said they'd return for the champions' dinner service, while 93 percent said they'd return for the Season 11 chefs' dinner. Ramsay was so impressed, that he decided to not send anyone home.

Reality Rewind notes keeping everyone only raises the stakes in this competition: Next week, one, two or even three chefs could be sent packing.

"Hell's Kitchen" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
