These are just a few of the strategies out there for those of us who want to achieve financial success. But if none of these options sound doable, here’s another one to consider: move to a new city.
Credit Donkey, a credit card comparison company, recently released a ranking of the best cities in America to strike it rich. The list ranked America’s largest metropolitan areas based on three criteria: a city's percentage of high-income households, a city's economic growth and finally the amount of innovation occurring in a city based on patent information.
The results may surprise you. Cities like Minneapolis and Austin beat out well-known startup hubs like San Francisco and New York on the top 10 list, while large metropolitan areas like Chicago and Los Angeles didn’t even make the cut.
