Rob Lowe's Old Cellphone Ad: Nextel's Commercial From 2003 (VIDEO)

In 2003, Rob Lowe was still playing Sam Seaborn on "The West Wing," a show that certainly featured quite a few pagers back when it started in 1999. So it seems extra funny to watch Rob Lowe shill for an early-2000s cellphone from Nextel that has the futuristic ability to also be a walkie-talkie. The commercial features a "dual reality" setup where in one reality Lowe has to deal with the cops because of his stupid old, pre-2003 cellphone that doesn't even flip. Check out Lowe breaking into a house because his cellphone is useless, in the video below.

Lowe probably could have actually taken that cop even without a cool flip-phone because he used to be a fighter.
