Did Harrison Ford Restore & Renovate His Own Home? Because That Would Be Awesome (VIDEO)

07/13/2013 09:39 am ET

Before Harrison Ford was a multi-million dollar actor, did you know he was a carpenter? And even when he was starring in A-list movies, he never forgot his skills. So, on this 70th birthday today, we want to take a look back at the home Harrison had a hand in restoring and remodeling.

In the video above, we see Ford's Brentwood, California home. According to the original listing, the home was "exquisitely restored and remodeled by the current owner to exacting standards and with great respect for the original classic architecture." The 1950s Colonial home was a walk-in fireplace, library and country kitchen. He put the property up for sale in 2012 and bought a new place with wife Calista Flockhart. We're dying to know what DIY projects he's doing up in that place.

Watch the video above to see the home, and join us as we wish Ford a very Happy Birthday.
