Tina Turner is a married woman! Reuters reports that the 73-year-old singer wed longtime boyfriend Erwin Bach Sunday in a small civil ceremony in Switzerland.
The nuptials were hardly unexpected: Turner and Bach, a German-born record producer, have been dating for a whopping 27 years. Turner herself has been residing in the country for nearly two decades; in January 2013, she surrendered her U.S. citizenship in order to become an official Swiss citizen.
According to Reuters, Turner and Bach, 57, plan to celebrate their union with a "Buddhist water ceremony at her lakefront mansion this weekend." Meanwhile, the Daily Mail says the star-studded guest list of 120 includes celebrities such as David Bowie, Oprah Winfrey and Sade.
Turner was previously married to singer Ike Turner for 14 years; the couple split in 1976. Turner recounted their abusive relationship in her book, "I, Tina," which was later turned into the 1993 biopic "What's Love Got To Do With It," starring Angela Bassett.
