We consider ourselves pretty garden savvy, but one Redditor has us stumped. User Senyin uploaded photos of this, er, plant and explained "we had a stump remover guy come to get rid of stumps in the yard, and he told us that this wasn't a tree, it's a weed." Hmm. He then went on to document the characteristics that back up his decision.
Other Redditors chimed in, like TheDopeGodfather who apparently is an arborist and said that based on the presence of bark "this is most certainly a tree." Last_Gigolo, another arborist (wow, there are a lot of arborists on Reddit) said "if it takes a tree guy to remove it, then call it a damn tree."
