Jose Reyes was left writhing in pain after taking a baseball to the groin during the fifth inning of the Rays-Blue Jays game on Sunday.
Tampa Bay pitcher Chris Archer tried to pick Reyes off at first base, but the ball bounced and hit Reyes as he dove back to the bag. Still, Reyes had the presence of mind to never remove his hand from first base, preventing any chance at a pickoff.
Thankfully, after just a few moments on the ground, Reyes was able to collect himself and stay in the game.
