Creative Proposal Uses Bed Sheets To Spell Out 'Will You Marry Me?'

WATCH: ACreative Use For Bed Sheets

We've heard of romantic things going on between the sheets, but one Tennessee man used bed sheets for another -- unexpected -- romantic endeavor.

Smith, 25, teamed up his future father-in-law to execute a marriage proposal for his girlfriend, Rachel, Clarksville Now reports. Rachel's dad mowed a one-acre heart into the grass on their family's farm. Inside, Smith placed 15-foot-tall letters spelling out "Will you marry me?" that he made from bed sheets he collected around town.

Then, on Saturday, Smith popped the question to Rachel when they took a small plane ride over the farmlands of Middle Tennessee. When they flew over her family's property, she looked out the window and saw the special message. Her answer? "Yes!"

But Smith isn't the only guy to pop the question in the air. In June, a JetBlue passenger provided some exciting in-flight entertainment when a proposal video he made for his girlfriend played on all of the seat-back TVs.
