Shocker! Being Single Doesn't Make You A Crazy Cat Lady, Explains Wendy Braitman

Posted: Updated:

PSA: Not all single women are unhappy with their lives.

Wendy Braitman, blogger at First Person Singular, joined Abby Huntsman on HuffPost Live to talk about why people pity single women -- and why that's unnecessary.

"I think single and married are not so different," Braitman said. "We're living our life, trying to make the most of every day and deal gracefully with what comes our way."

Braitman also tackled the common misconception that older single women are crazy cat ladies. She said:

"Sometimes we have good days, and sometimes we have tough days. But it doesn't mean that we are lonely, or sad, or bitter or in love with our pets."

Check out what else Braitman had to say in the clip above, and watch the full HuffPost Live segment here.
