Kim Zolciak's Husband Adopts Her Two Daughters

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak's children officially have a new dad. In an interview with "E! News" Tuesday, NFL athlete Kroy Biermann -- who wed the reality star two years ago -- explained why he adopted her two daughters from a previous relationship, 16-year-old Brielle and 12-year-old Ariana.

"In order to keep balance you have to have priorities," the Atlanta Falcons defensive end said. "Our careers are our priorities, our kids, our health, our happiness ...Now, my house isn't going to be as clean as it was before, but it's not important. Those things are not important and it's all about prioritizing and understanding."

Zolciak admitted that she was unsure whether she could do the same. "I don't know if I could love anybody else's children as much as Kroy loves the girls. I just don't know if I have it in me," she said.

The couple married on November 11, 2011, in a lavish $1 million ceremony that included three outfit changes for the bride and a $14,000 11-layer cake . Zolciak, 35, and Biermann, 27, have two other sons together; Zolciak is currently expecting a fifth baby.
