Supporters of the creation of the Smithsonian American Latino Museum on the Washington Mall want what is so hard to get in Congress: Swift passage of a piece of legislation.

Later this month, the museum’s friends and a group of bipartisan congressional leaders will gather in Washington to make that push formally and also unveil the winning design for the proposed museum.
