Thirty years after the release of "Return of the Jedi," and on the heels of the new trilogy that's in the works, some core members of the original "Star Wars" cast reunited at a fan festival in Germany.

Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) were the centerpieces of the reunion, which also featured Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Warwick Davis (Wicket the Ewok), Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett), Ian McDiarmid (Emperor Palpatine) and Anthony Daniels (C-3PO). Notably missing -- to no one's surprise -- was Harrison Ford (Han Solo).

The three-day festival will include press conferences, screenings and a special "Star Wars: Episode VII" panel with Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy.
