We're always looking for creative ways to make our homes look great when we're having people over. And by "creative," we mean easy and inexpensive. Luckily, one of our favorite bloggers, Michael from Inspired By Charm shared photos of a DIY table runner he made on a beautiful tablescape for a summer party.
We love everything about this look, from the potted aloe plant to the gold flatware to the green glass accents. But we especially swoon over the dot print linens he made from, wait for it, a canvas drop cloth! The gradient effect he achieved using three different paint colors is just so cool.
