Jonathan Adler, Interior Designer, Loves Orange, Hates Mauve (PHOTOS)

Designer and potter Jonathan Adler is known for his funky designs and use of bright colors. But there is one hue he isn't touching anytime soon: mauve.

Adler sat down with Refinery29 to discuss his line Happy Chic for JCPenney, and said he's absolutely avoiding the pale color. "Dude...the kids are rocking an '80s-comeback thing, but mauve is like the one thing I will never, ever embrace," he said.

But he IS a big fan of orange. But that's obvious, if you look at his collection. Scroll through to see some of our favorites from "Happy Chic," and be sure to head over to Refinery29 for more information.
