The beauty behind this beef skewer recipe is that while it might take 30 minutes to prep, this appetizer takes no more than three minutes to actually cook. The real work in this beef skewer recipe is the miso glaze. It's made with freshly sauteed garlic, soy sauce, red miso and sesame oil and it sets this recipe apart from all other skewer recipes.

If you're preparing this recipe for entertaining, all the work (and by that we mean making the glaze) can be done well in advance. Then you can cook the skewers themselves while your guests are there, serve them hot, and not worry about being distracted from enjoying the party.
