'Men Or Mice': Black Voices Breakthrough Theater Series (VIDEO, POLL)

Black Voices Breakthrough Theater, part of our Screening Room experience, is a ten part series where our panel of curators present new, short films and web series created by emerging talent --both on screen and behind the camera.

This week's entry “Men or Mice,” which was written/directed/produced by Kiara C. Jones, centers around a quiet evening at home which eventually turns into a night of terror for a young woman named Jade. When she reaches out to the men of her life for help, she discovers an unexpected hero…she hopes.

KIARA C. JONES is an award winning Writer, Director and Producer, receiving honors for her work from HBO, CBS, BET, Lifetime Television Network, PBS, Centric, Aspire and Fox. She is the proprietor of Cultivated Films, a New York based production company that is dedicated to producing films by under represented storytellers and providing a nurturing environment where Writers and Directors can explore their voices.

Check out “Men or Mice” (above) and be sure to vote for your favorite Black Voices' Break Through theater film in the poll (below).
