Swedish goalkeeper Peter Abrahamsson was ejected from a match between second division clubs Hammarby and Örgryte on Monday after a stunning lapse in judgment just seconds after the game had already started.
The 25-year-old Örgryte goalie was sent off 44 seconds into the match for a blatant hand ball well outside of the penalty area. After a long punt from Hammarby's defensive half, Abrahamsson rushed to clear the ball with a two-handed punch. That's when the referee quickly booked the Örgryte keeper with a red card.
Hammarby won the match 3-0.
