Lily Collins' boots look as if they were made for anything but walking.
The actress stepped out to promote her new film "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" today wearing a thigh-high pair of boots that looked as if they were ripped right from the "Pretty Woman" poster. The black, scrunched-up leather stilettos made quite the statement for the usually-demure 24-year-old -- and they were making us teeter in our seats just looking at them.
Who knows? Maybe Collins was inspired by the character she plays in "Mortal Instruments." She told The Hollywood Reporter: "It was awesome because Clary gets to go from being this normal teenage girl who dresses in boyfriend jeans and combat boots and leather jackets, and then all the action starts, and she wears tight leather pants, a dress that is basically a top it’s so small and then five-inch thigh-high boots."
Voila. Life imitating art.
