"Tricked", Sex Trafficking Documentary, Sheds Light On Hidden World Of Abuse

In a new documentary on sex trafficking, "Tricked," documentarian Jane Wells delves into a growing issue rarely talked about in America. After the recent rescue of 105 children forced into sex slavery, Wells hopes to shed more light on the tragic issue.

"I had no idea what the extent of it was," Wells says in a HuffPost Live interview about sex trafficking before she began her research.

Sex trafficking survivor Danielle Douglas, featured in the documentary, discussed her fall into the dark underworld of sexual exploitation, her eventual rise out and her new-found freedom.

When asked what her advice would be for the 105 rescued child victims, Douglas said:

"I would honestly say take your time, really just work on getting yourself in the best place you can be. Find whoever you can that can support you, it doesn't have to be a family, it can be anyone, definitely having the support of someone or a group of people is always great. Making sure you definitely stay in therapy and talk about what happened so you can get through these feelings."
