Maybe it's the recent success of her made-for-TV movie "Sharnado" or maybe pink is just her color, but Tara Reid was glowing Friday night at an event in Los Angeles.
Reid was all smiles when she hit the red carpet at Regal Cinemas in L.A. for the premiere of The Asylum and Syfy's "Sharknado." The 37-year-old opted for a salmon-pink high-low dress with a V-neck bodice and strappy sandals. She topped her look off with a swipe of red lipstick and kohl-rimmed eyes.
She was joined by cast members Ian Ziering and Cassie Scerbo at the event.
The former "American Pie" star was out celebrating the one-night-only, midnight showing of "Sharknado" at select theaters across the country, San Diego's KNSD notes. The flick made headlines on July 11 after it aired on the Syfy Channel and became a Twitter sensation.
Screenings sold out in Boston, New York and Seattle.
"It's just crazy," Reid told E! News Thursday at the 2013 Young Hollywood Awards, where "Sharknado" snagged the Internet Sensation Award. "If someone was ever gonna tell me that this was gonna happen, I never would have believed it. It's just hilarious. It just shows you how powerful social media is... This movie has become such a crazy phenomenon and we definitely didn't expect anything like this."
"Sharknado 2" is set to air in 2014.
