Rihanna threw her beloved grandmother, Clara Braithwaite, an extravagant funeral back in June 2012. The reception reportedly included tents, multimedia large screens and many flower arrangements.
TMZ is now reporting that the funeral company Rihanna hired is filing a lawsuit against the pop star. They claim Rihanna paid a quarter of the owed $150,000 "and refused to pay more," insisting she had been overcharged.
Rihanna's grandmother, whom she called "Gran Gran Dolly," had suffered a long battle with cancer and died in a New York hospital. Rihanna hosted memorial services in Brooklyn and Barbados according to reports from last year.
UPDATE: A rep for Rihanna tells HuffPost Celebrity, "Rihanna's bill was paid in full. The accusation that there is an outstanding balance is completely false."
